About Light Travertine
Formed from mineral-rich spring water, Light Travertine has the characteristic warm tone and open texture of the type, with a homogeneous structure that lays cleanly across generous areas. It is supplied in both vein-cut and cross-cut, and the cross-cut material in particular is widely used for the popular French Pattern sets. Its light colour reflects sunlight, which makes it a sensible choice for façades and hot-climate exteriors, helping buildings stay cooler. For polished interiors the cavities are filled; for textured outdoor work it can be left unfilled.
It coordinates naturally with Ivory Travertine and pairs well with darker stones for contrast.
